  • Kathleen Munroe is terrific, but the story doesn’t have that ‘real world’ feeling that all the best episodes of this show have. Pretty much from the get go, with drug dealers, plastic surgeons and strip-club owners, it feels like a TV episode rather than something rooted in the world we live in.
  • At it’s absolute best, when the endings are powerful and emotional, this series gives the impression of real people committing murder for surprising reasons.
  • This, for a change, was a killer who would be completely at home on any other cop show. And we weren’t really invested in her journey, nor surprised by her cold-blooded attitude in the final scenes. (Having said that, when she dropped the lighter I was very shocked.)
  • Still a good episode, of course. Beautifully filmed, with breathtaking locations and well-chosen camera angles.

Maria del Mar. Very inventive and exciting finale, with many big laughs. Utterly delightful, really. 10/10

Phyllis Ellis. Hysterically funny, fiendishly clever way to end the story arc. Jaw-droppingly offensive. Pure genius. When I wasn’t laughing uncontrollably, I was just sitting back with a goofy grin on my face: unable to completely process everything I was seeing. 10/10
